Approaches to Measuring the Value of Earth Observation (New date)

What is the value and impact of Earth observation and information? The next in our series of GEOvalue workshops, this one entitled “Earth Observation Valuation Workshop,” has been postponed to an in-person meeting in spring 2021. This event will gather 50-60 experts from across the international community within different disciplines, across various space agencies as well as representatives from government, industry and academic to present and share case studies and best practices in measuring the value of EO. The workshop will address the recommendations of the 2019 GEOvalue workshop and will also raise awareness of the issues and work that is being done in various organizations on EO valuation, in order to give researchers and policymakers insight into better understanding, measuring and communicating the value and benefits of EO.

The workshop will be hosted by the Canadian Space Agency. Watch this site for further information.
